Power BI Visual Spacing Calculator

Setting whitespace between visualizations in Power BI becomes quick and easy with our dashboard spacing calculator. The calculator will return the starting value for the x or y coordinates to ensure the appropriate spacing for white space.

How to use the calculator

  • Canvas Dimension – The total Width or Height of the Canvas
  • Canvas Padding – White space on the outside of the Canvas. Offset of where the first visual begins.
  • Space Between Visuals – Fixed number of pixels between visuals to define white space
  • Width of Visualization – Could also be height of visual. Used to calculate distance to next white space

Add another visualization to enter in new width or height to calculate the next starting point.
